Desktop Search Results page

We know that Google is a company which is chopping and changing things time and again. Just recently, we heard that Google is releasing a new broad core algorithm update which will be called the June 2019 update. Now, updates are meant to improve things regarding Google Search. This is why SEO professionals also look forward to new updates.

Now, most of the times we are not aware that a new update has been announced. But in recent times, Google announces updates that are being released in the core algorithms. In one of those updates that were released by Google in April 2019, we saw the introduction of the “More Results” button instead of the next page on Google for Mobile results.

It is now being noticed that the same button is coming to the Google Web search results as well. With the help of “More Results” button, you can look for more results that might be available on the next page for a search query. However, this is a much bigger change than you think. Because there is a running joke in the SEO industry saying that if you want to hide something, hide it in the second page of Google search results. Why so? Well, because no visits the second page of Google search results apparently.

With the “More Results” button, users will not have to go to the next page. Instead, they will just have to click the button and more results will be shown on page scroll in the same page. As far as the addition of the “More Results” button on Google search results for mobile is concerned, we have not heard about the results from Google as of yet. But personally speaking, it is definitely a better functionality then going to the next page which is rarely visited, quite frankly.
